Agenda

This meeting will launch the new Automotive Special Interest Group. Like other Special Interest Groups the aim is to bring together specialists in this subject so that a smaller, more targeted meeting can be held. It is also likely that the Automotive SIG will sponsor special training courses and case studies. The ACT Club already includes a number of Automotive related companies and judging from the interest expressed this should increase quite quickly after the formation of this SIG.

The meeting has a broad technical theme of "Future Directions in Automotive Control". It will have a combination of technical presentations and short (15 minute) informal presentations on future directions and problems in automotive control, which we hope will stimulate the subsequent round table discussions. The main aim of the day is to enable the members of the Special Interest Group to define its role, scope and activities.

If you would like to contribute a short presentation then please let us know, indicating any applicable title. Instead of a formal contribution, we would be very happy to hear your ideas on how the group should proceed during the general round table discussion session.
