Overview

This one day course provides an insight understanding to optimisation methods for both unconstrained and constrained optimisation. Furthermore, slightly more advance optimisation methods such as the dynamic optimisation method and genetic algorithms are illustrated in this course too. Hands-on sessions for each topic is used to reinforce the lecture.

The Optimisation is extremely important subject used across all the Engineering fields. For control engineering applications it is widely used for optimal control and parameter identification/estimation.
